Occupational Therapy using gardening as an intervention

Occupational Therapy is a person centred health profession which helps individuals regain or enhance their ability to perform meaningful activities, promoting independence and wellbeing. Occupational therapists are able to support people with diverse needs including neurological conditions, physical disabilities, mental health needs, and learning disabilities.

At Hope Therapy Gardens a qualified Occupational Therapist will work with you to help you identify what goals you would like to work towards. We then use structured and purposeful gardening activities as a therapeutic tool to support you to reach your goals.

We offer 2 therapeutic services:

  • Group sessions with a maximum of 3 participants in each group

  • 1:1 sessions
